2010 Composite Fantasy Football Tight End Rankings

We are at it again with more composite rankings.

Once again we took CBS Sportsline.com, ESPN.com, Foxsports.com, Yahoo.com, NFL.com, jzak’s ranks with player capsules and sockonfl’s ranks with player capsules and came up with the average rank at the Tight End position.

    I’ll be waiting on a TE this year. Even though I’ll be picking 9th out of 12, in one of my leagues.. the depth is just amazing and there is really no need to draft the position until round 9 or 10.

    Thanks for the comment Brohamma. I agree, the TE position is a lot deeper now due to the proliferation of passing attacks in the NFL. You can wait and still get a decent one if you miss out of the top group.

    I’ll be targeting Hernandez late myself. I know its a pretty big gamble but New England is going to have to lessen the load on Welker this year and Hernandez will be a factor in that. Also, as a Pats fan.. I would really like to see them go back to the old “bread n’ butter” play; although this time no Big Ben Coates.

    Thing is — it’s not a big gamble: If your hunch blows up and Hernandez sucks, you can just pick up Scheffler off waivers and be just fine.

    I definitely won’t be taking a TE until there’s a ridiculous deal or the draft is winding down.
