Peyton Manning has been struggling and he’s not making any excuses. Let’s make a couple for him.

The Colts might as well replace their iconic horseshoe with a hospital cross. Their injury report lists 17 total players, including three wide receivers, three running backs and two tight ends.

If Javarris James is getting meaningful carries, Manning’s chucking the ball way more than he should be and every defense on the planet knows it. Still, some people say he’s as bad as he’s looked all season. … And Tennessee is eighth in the NFL with 15 picks.

Is Manning Tennessee Titans bad? Well, we’ll see when they try to rise up out of their own messy funk. How messy? The Titans have scored six points in their last two games and have gone 13 quarters (13… more than three games!) without an offensive touchdown.

With the return of Kenny Britt we should find out if Randy Moss is going to produce anything this season. The trio of Nate Washington, Kenny Britt and Randy Moss should pose problems to opposing defenses if veteran QB Kerry Collins can get the ball to them.

It’ll also be interesting to see what the Titans do with Reggie Wayne, especially after his huge week last week. In the last couple of weeks, Tennessee has held No. 1 receivers down, but a couple weeks ago, Santana Moss burned them for more than 100 yards.
