2010 Week 6 fantasy football preview with projections: Dolphins at Packers

Green Bay looks like a walking M.A.S.H. unit, while Miami is fresh coming off their bye week (not a single offensive skill player is listed on the injury report).

The two teams meet this week, and we have projections for every player involved.

Projections have the Packers, and dinged up quarterback Aaron Rodgers, winning 24.2-17.7.

The ding to Rodgers head (he says it’s one of many knocks to his head but his first concussion) is notable. He could take a turn for the worse overnight, but he’s probable as of this writing.

They’ll need him to run the show, especially with JerMichael Finley on the shelf for a long time. Donald Lee, who also got hurt last week and is listed as probable, and rookie Andrew Quarless will benefit from a Miami defense that is susceptible to tight ends. Neither one of them is Finley, but either one of them could produce a bye-week worthy stat line. Donald Driver is also probable with a quad injury.

While tight ends like playing against the Dolphins, quarterbacks and wide receivers have had a rough go against the secondary.

Last year’s defensive player of the year, Charles Woodson, will likely blanket Miami’s Brandon Marshall all game. Woodson won’t shut him down completely, but he’s got a better than 50/50 shot of picking off a pass. That’s not good news for Chad Henne, especially if the pick comes early. Henne had a whole bye week to contemplate the 3-INT game he had against the Patriots in Week 4.
