2011 Fantasy Football Week 4: Favorable Matchups Based on Fantasy Points Against

Last year yours truly was one of the first in the industry to provide you with weekly fantasy points against stats so that you could be more informed on start/sit decisions.  Now that everyone has caught onto that bandwagon, I intend on leaving them to do the hard leg work in producing the raw data.

Here at Chinstrap Ninja’s we will list who you should be starting based on the analyzed data.

The fantasy points against stats can be found here courtesy of Yahoo Sports.

Nice article, I had a couple of line-up questions that I would appreciate any input on.

    WR2 in a PPR
    M. Williams (TB)
    David Nelson, or
    Sidney Rice?
I also have Burleson, but I think he’s got to sit this week until further notice.

    Plug and Play D,
I like ATL, but worry about them playing in Seattle and coming up big….enough

I thinking the Vikings in KC in at least one league this week thoughts?

    Thanks

    Mohawks:

I think Mike Williams is due for a breakout game here soon. I would go with him as the WR2.

As for your Minnesota defense pick, I had a tough time debating that one myself when I wrote the article. I can see where Minnesota is a very nice play this week as well. If Minnesota is where your gut is leading you, then I would go that way.

As a disappointed Mendenhall owner, I’m surprised you have him on your “studs” list. The Steelers O-line is in shambles, Mendenhall is reverting back to his patented spin-and-fall-down move, and I am seriously considering benching him this week. Not very “stud-worthy,” in my book.

  4. Paul

I have Wes Welker NE, Mike Williams TB, Brandon Lloyd Den, and Jeremy Maclin PHI. I can only start two recievers in my league. Other than Welker who would you start?

    Paul:

I would start Jeremy Maclin against the weak San Francisco secondary this week.
