Of all the weeks for Vernon Davis to be questionable.
San Francisco is facing the Arizona Cardinals, the juiciest matchup for opposing tight ends.
If he plays, even if he’s limited, I’d bet he gets in the end zone. If he doesn’t play, his backup, Vance McDonald, is also questionable. If they have to dip even further, San Francisco has Garrett Celek and Derek Carrier.
I can’t really recommend either of them, but I’m guessing they’ll have a 0.00001% start percentage at FanDuel and Draft Kings. Throw one of them in a .25-cent quarter arcade at Draft Kings.
Larry Donnell started out this week way too high according to our projections. I manually adjusted his numbers but he’s still No. 2. He looked great last week, albeit against the aforementioned Cardinals. But he’s led the Giants in receptions, targets, yards and has made 10 first downs, three times more than any other Giants receiver.
That means Eli Manning trusts him and the offense puts him in a position to make plays. He’s still a good value at both FanDuel and Draft Kings.
