What kind of player do you run in your flex spot. I mean, do you draft an extra running back because you always want an RB in that slot?
Or do you grab an extra receiver early? You probably just end up with the best player available.
At Draft Kings we get to start a flex every week from the entire player pool. What do you do in that case?
This season, I find myself starting value running backs who can get high volume carries and who can catch passes out of the backfield. I’ve had some success. I’ve profited playing the Millionaire Maker, but I haven’t hit anything big.
I think I should try to get more wide receivers in there.
In theory, you should start a running back at flex for safe points in cash games — 50/50s, head-to-heads, 3-man leagues — and a wide receiver in tournaments, where you want added volatility.
