Boom or bust flex (RB/WR/TE) projections for Week 5

Wow, here’s another one that’s probably going to make a few of you laugh.

My standard (NOT PPR) projections have two wide receivers and a tight end who is not Jimmy Graham at the top of the list.

It looks like I may have to downgrade Delanie Walker’s stats a bit, but the Browns were terrible against tight ends last season. Their numbers so far this year are a mixed bag, but Jimmy Graham went off against them. And I’d put Walker closer to Graham’s talent than to Heath Miller’s. We’ll see.

Antonio Brown and Jeremy Maclin have been the A1 and A2 options in the passing game for their team. Each of them have excellent matchups this week that forced me to bump up their averages.

It’s also worth noting the big gun backs, Jamaal Charles, Arian Foster and LeSean McCoy have left us a little unsure after the first quarter of the season. Charles does seem to be coming around.
