2016 Draft Kit

Boom or bust PPR flex (RB/WR/TE) projections for NFL Playoffs: Conference championships

The big news in the PPR projections is Rob Gronwkowski at the top of the board.

I don’t think a tight end cracked the top three all season, let alone was projected for the top spot. I, of course, have to recommend Gronkowski whole heartedly this week.

It’s a situation where everyone is going to have him, but he’s expected to be so much better than everyone else at his position that it’s going to be difficult to be contrarian.

Marshawn Lynch is the best running back by a good bit, but you can tell by looking at this list that there are more decent options in backfields than there are at TE. Still, I’ll have Lynch in plenty of lineups too.

On Draft Kings they lowered the minimum price for players. So you can roster a player for as little as $2,000. Those players aren’t expected to make a difference, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they did. If you start someone like James Starks or Zurlon Tipton at just $2,000 and $2,100 respectively and they get three catches and 30 total yards they pay off their salary and allow you to pair Lynch with better receivers or pair Tom Brady and Gronkowski.
