Boom or bust PPR flex (RB/WR/TE) projections for Week 12

Whenever I get to the PPR flex projections I worry about this introduction.

Oh, there is plenty more to be said. I could never discuss every player and situation in the few posts I make each week.

No, I just worry that I’m going to start repeating myself at this point. I’m sure I have this season. The problem is that there are always a handful of matchups that we could just keep talking about, like DeMarco Murray against the Giants and T.Y. Hilton vs. the Jaguars.

So I’m going to pick out a few players I haven’t talked about even if the on-paper matchups aren’t spectacular.

Sammy Watkins has been one of my favorite plays in DFS this season. He’s been quiet for a few weeks. But he torched the Jets earlier this season and the game is now being played inside on turf. Speaking of the turf, I wonder how many touches Percy Harvin will get on the turf. He could be in for a sneaky big game too.

Keenan Allen and Cecil Shorts are likely to be in for a pile of targets this week. Allen was targeted 45 times in the last four weeks. Because of the injury to Allen Robinson and Jacksonville’s garbage-time opportunity against Indianapolis, Shorts might get more than 10 targets himself.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see the Jaguars’ Allen Hurns beat the defense on a long touchdown in that game either.
