Every week I get to these PPR projections and I’m not sure what to talk about in the intro.
I didn’t go too in depth in the intro for the standard rankings, but it wasn’t to save anything for here.
I just wasn’t feeling it.
Let’s talk about crazy things. Things you might not get from the projections.
I’m probably going to have Latavius Murray in a daily fantasy sports lineup or two. It’s a horrible matchup and the Raiders aren’t going to use him as a feature back.
However, when there’s a player who can set the fantasy world on fire on just four carries and he still only costs $3,800 at Draft Kings, I’m going to have some exposure to him.
Here’s an off-the-wall thought for you. Green Bay is supposed to score a pile of points and win by 12. If they have a 20-point lead by halftime, I wonder if James Starks gets enough action in the fourth quarter to provide positive value at minimum salary. He would only need six points in cash games, which he could get easily, or 9-12 points in tournaments to be a sneaky good play.
That’s not a recommended play. It’s just a crazy thought. Maybe I’ll run him out there in a quarter arcade. A $3,000 running back can open up a lot of doors elsewhere. For instance, are you looking for a way to roster Calvin Johnson, Josh Gordon and Le’Veon Bell?
