Like I said in the quarterback projections, the point of these boom-or-bust projections is to try to use matchups and fantasy points allowed to sift through the field and find some gems.
We’ve got some interesting names among the fantasy starters (top-20) this week.
Frank Gore has an excellent matchup. I’ll be rostering him in a handful of DFS lineups this week because he provides a nice value. He has two-TD upside against the Raiders team allowing 30.6 PPR points per game to running backs.
Rashad Jennings might not play. While Andre Williams has been bad, he’s a sneaky play if Jennings can’t go.
Isaiah Crowell gets a stellar matchup agains the Colts.
Jonathan Stewart and Bishop Sankey have the potential to provide serious value.
Jamaal Charles is 22nd. He’s matchup proof and he’ll probably make a mockery of these projections, but we let the matchups and statistics do the talking here. Don’t bench him unless you have two other studs to put in place of him. Just understand, he’s got a lower ceiling than usual.
