The Packers allow 61.8 yards per game to opposing tight ends. That’s the sixth-highest total in the NFL this season. They face Rob Gronkowski and Tim Wright this week.
While they make easy choices, there’s another option gaining a lot of traction this week —
Dion Sims Gator Hoskins playing against the New York Jets “defensive” secondary.
Hoskins is stepping in for the injured Charles Clay (and Dion Sims). The Jets have allowed 17.4 PPR fantasy points per game to tight ends in the last five weeks.
Another interesting sleeper pick is Andrew Quarless against the Patriots. New England is known for taking away a teams best player — that means they’ll be focused on Jordy Nelson and Randall Cobb, leaving Quarless with the potential for opportunity. The Patriots alos allow the most yards per game in the NFL to tight ends, 73.5 yards.
NOTE: Dion Sims was ruled out Sunday.
