Adding matchups into the equation forced Jordy Nelson down to sixth and Randall Cobb up to second. Chicago isn’t a particularly great matchup for wide receivers, especially No. 1 WRs. But they are susceptible to WR2s.
It’s also a terrific matchup for Julio Jones, who should get back on track after a couple stinkers in a row.
I like the matchup for Kelvin Benamin too. The Eagles are allowing 41.2 fantasy points to opposing wide receivers.
Calvin Johnson is back and could struggle against Miami. However, the Dolphins have been susceptible to No. 1 receivers while shutting down all other receivers. It’ll be interesting to see whether Megatron or Golden Tate come out on top.
Tate has been stellar with Johnson out. I wasn’t sure what to do, so I decreased both of their numbers by a little bit. The Dolphins have allowed just 13.6 fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks.
Tennessee has been horrible against top wide receivers this season, making this an excellent matchup for Torrey Smith. It’s not exactly bad for Steve Smith either.
