2016 Draft Kit

Draft Kings hitters to start for Wednesday, April 8

The Brewers disappointed us two nights in a row. We can’t go back again can we?

Yes, yes we can. The Brewers have a stellar lineup and once again against Eddie Butler, who ranks 29th of 30 pitchers today.

Teams to stack

Colorado vs. Wily Peralta — We’re only two games into the season but the Rockies bats seem to be in midseason form and they get a great wOBA matchup against Peralta and Miller Park, while no Coors Field, is home to many high-scoring affairs. Top targets: SS Troy Tulowitzki, OF Corey Dickerson, OF Carlos Gonzalez, OF Charlie Blackmon and 3B Nolan Arenado.

Milwaukee vs. Eddie Butler — Like the intro said, Butler should be no match for the Brewers bats. They have to start hitting sometime, right? Their slow start just means lower ownership when they do start mashing. Top targets: OF Carlos Gomez, C Jonathan Lucroy, OF Khris Davis and 3B Aramis Ramirez

Arizona vs. Chris Heston — Heston isn’t even in Draft Kings’ database yet. The Giants pitching staff is hurting and the Diamondbacks have bats that can take advantage. Top targets: OF Ender Inciarte, 1B Paul Goldschmidt, OF David Peralta, 2B Aaron Hill, OF Mark Trumbo, 3B Jake Lamb

Cleveland vs. Scott Feldman — The Indians were shut out in their season-opener, wasting Corey Kluber’s first quality start of the year. But today they face Feldman, who we have ranked 30th of 30 pitchers today, in the bottom third in win and strikeout probability, wOBA matchup and park factor. Top targets: OF Michael Brantley, 1B Carlos Santana, OF Michael Bourn, 2B Jason Kipnis.

Some other stacks to consider: Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Andrew Cashner, Oakland vs. Ross Detwiler and San Francisco vs. Jeremy Hellickson.

Some value hitters to consider

OF Travis Snider — Snider started off his Pirates career with a bang on Monday. He was once a prospect with immense potential, maybe he’s finally meeting it. His cost is $3,800 at Draft Kings.

2B Joe Panik — The Giants are one of the teams I considered stacking today. Panik hits second and costs just $3,200.

OF Nori Aoki — Like Panik, Aoki hits high in the Giants order (1st in the first two games) and is sub-$4,000 at $3,600

OF Angel Pagan — Pagan hits third for the Giants and is another sub-$4,000 ($3,900) player.
