Our initial flex rankings had Rob Gronkowski second and three tight ends in the top-5.
Who knows, maybe that was right? I went in and modified the formula a bit to get what I consider a more realistic representation of player values.
That said, Gronk is still in the top-5. He may be a must-start for anyone playing Thursday daily fantasy games.
Otherwise the list is a good mix of wide receivers and running backs.
The players are sorted by the value metric on the right as opposed to xpts — our modified fantasy points projection. The value metric is meant to give a better representation of a player against other players at his position, an important factor to consider when determining who to start at your position and flex spots.
As with any rankings or advice, you want to check player statuses right up until game time. We’re never always right and players can be scratched from lineups unexpectedly.
