Every week I tell you guys to be a little wary of these projections. I don’t spend as much time as I should on IDP.
Still, the formula I use figures out how many tackles, interceptions, etc. will be available for a defense then distributes them according to this season’s usage.
That said, in situations where roles have changed or players are hurt, the projections are going to be a little off.
Speaking of that, it’s nice to see Chris Borland finally make the top 10. Borland, a third-round pick, has been beasting as a replacement for the injured Patrick Willis. He wasn’t quite as good on my Madden Ultimate Team. I should probably fire that up and see if they’ve made any changes to his stats.
Oh, and in case you were wondering, I made tackles worth two points instead of the one used in most formats. I feel like tackles are easier to predict and wanted to make sure the list skewed more toward tackle-heavy players.
