Individual defensive player projections for Week 13

It looks like I forgot to put int he fantasy points calculation on Thursday. Oops.

It’s fixed now. DeAndre Levy is our top defender this week.

The standard caveat applies here: I don’t spend much time on individual defensive players that aren’t on my rosters. If I have a player ranked but he’s out for the week or the season, it’s not because I know more than my fellow fantasy nerds, it’s that I don’t have time to scour every bit of news. Hopefully in the future I will.

For now, just understand that while I don’t spend a pile of time on them, these projections should still be pretty tight. Our models project total passes, completions, interceptions etc. for offense. So, we can also attribute them to the defense and, using in-season statistical distribution to date, we hand out shares of the statistics.

One other note: I make tackles worth two points. Standard across the industry is one, but I feel the tackles projections are much more reliable. I also feel you should prefer IDPs with tackle volume over interceptions or fumble recoveries.

Week 13 projections: QB RB | WR | TE | FLEX | K | DEF | IDP

Week 13 PPR projections: RB | WR | TE | FLEX
