We’ve done a lot here in the last couple of months. Unveiled a lot and produced a lot. You’ve rewarded us with more views than we thought possible in only our second fantasy baseball season.
For example, April 2010 is only four days old, turning five as this is being written, but it’s already our second best month ever. Last week was our best week ever, beating the previous week, which beat the previous… you get the picture.
Let’s not get bogged down in numbers — even though they represent your awesome — because we’ve got a lot to talk about in this early April letter. It’s all stuff we know you are going to love.
As you may have noticed by our new banner or read in a previous letter, we’re doing a fantasy baseball liveblog today during the first full slate of games. Throughout the day we’ll have one live post that gets updated with comments and predictions as the homers, strikeouts and Milton Bradley ejections happen.
Chinstrap Ninjas: Bringing you fantasy baseball 2010 as it comes to life.
Check in, send us an e-mail — ep(at)chinstrapninjas.com — or leave a question or remark in the comments and we’ll talk it up.
Of course, we’ll have other content posting at intervals throughout the day, as usual.
We’re also ramping up our in-season baseball coverage compared to our sporadic content last season. Your loyalty demands more than sporadic. We proud ninjas will answer the call.
We’ll provide insights on waiver pickups, lineup advice, prospects to watch and grill up countless other bits of raw information into ready-to-eat fantasy burgers every week. We’re working out content frequency and posting schedules as we speak. More on that by the end of the week in the form of a new 2010 Fantasy Baseball page. Don’t worry, you’ll be able to ridicule our sure-to-be-almost-completely-wrong-by-the-All-Star-break 2010 fantasy baseball rankings page forever.
Some of you are still not happy, but you will be when we unveil the 2010 NFL Draft page by next weekend and the new and improved 2010 Fantasy Football page by the end of April.
As they say, BOOM! Those deadlines are squishy too. Squishy to this side of May, not the other.
We’re going to have regular football content throughout the baseball season, Liveblog the NFL Draft and, if the powers that be at work allow, do the same during the NFL’s opening weekend.
If you Twitter — I Twitter. I just Twittered and I’m ready to Twitter again — we got Twitter. You can follow Chinstrap Ninjas at @chinstrapninjas. It’s just a list of our new content as it happens. But if you don’t want to miss anything, there’s your ticket. You can have the links beamed on a laser straight to your phone and directly into your brain. That statement is almost completely true.
You can also follow me at @epCN.
Several of you readers new and old are already friends with us on Facebook, but not all of you are over there yet. Come join our group, cared for lovingly by jzak.
Crawling out from under the crushing weight of the fantasy baseball preseason blitz, we’ll get some buttons up on the site that will make those connection options a little easier, too.
That’s a lot to reveal in one letter. Let’s get on to today’s live blog and the rest of today’s content.
Until next time, Ninjas. Stay deadly.
