Congratulations for making it to the semifinals. Months of hard work, bleary-eyed reading of the injury report — I’ll just refresh it one more time — and Monday Night Sweats (RotoGrinders!) have paid off for you. Now you’re facing your toughest opponent yet. Maybe you lost three wide receivers to injury last week. Maybe Cam [...]

I thought you’d fix that Cam Newton projection by the time you rolled out your final rankings. Well, disembodied voice, you thought wrong. Cam is playing at home in a juicy matchup. Yep, the projections are here. Late this week, I know. And I don’t have time to put together full posts for each position again. You get this compact look at all of the positions. Like last week, I haven’t made any adjustments based on receiver-type matchups yet. These are almost raw from the projection machine [...]
It didn’t come up last week, but I’ve changed the way I do my matchup rankings now. It worked out last week. We’ll see if that was an anomaly or a step in a wining direction. The change is that now instead of just looking at Football Outsiders’ defense adjusted value over average and yards [...]
Last week was a bit of a disappointment in the quarterback ranks. I was all-in on Colin Kaepernick and he was a flop. Meanwhile, Ben Roethlisberger was really low on my list and he had another stellar game.
Post-Ben Roethlisberger eruption, his statistical projections look great this week. He’s projected to throw 1.7 TDs and lead the league with 315.7 yards. All that despite playing Baltimore, which allows just 16.2 fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks. Something’s going to give.
