Our first Thursday night game provides plenty of fantasy repercussions. I like the fact that the Falcons have scored 30.8 points in their four home wins and that the Ravens have held six of their eight opponents to 17 points or fewer. Should make for a fun matchup.

NFL.com’s matchup page sums up this game much better than I can: “One of the AFC’s elite takes on what might be the worst team in football. The Bills are at least rested coming off a bye. The Ravens can’t get caught looking ahead to theirs.” When last we saw Buffalo they had some interesting […]
The Patriots still have to feel the momentum after scoring 44 points in their last contest, but Baltimore is in a position to stop all of that. The Ravens have several good matchups against a Patriots defense that is struggling to find it’s way.
There are a couple huge matchups in today’s game between the Broncos, one of the NFL’s most prolific offenses in 2010, and the Ravens, a perennial defensive power. Who stands out? Who stands to disappear? Let’s discuss projections.
The Ravens have one of the stronger defenses in the NFL every year but showed rare vulnerability against the Browns last week. If Peyton Hillis can lead a rushing attack to a 141-yard performance against them, Pittsburgh’s Rashard Mendenhall sure can. It’ll be interesting to see if Baltimore’s D bounces back with renewed fury against […]
Eric Mangini is thisclose to bagging groceries. That news should make fantasy owners happy. Oh, and the Browns play the Ravens this week in Baltimore. That’s another step closer to “paper or plastic?”
It’s still early in the season, but if last week’s performances were any indication, this game against the Ravens is going to be a very long one for the Bengals. If we’re lucky, maybe we’ll see our first sideline/postgame fireworks from the Wonder Twins (Terrell Owens and Chad Ochocinco).
