Well, as predicted, Andrew Cashner hung my lineups out to dry. My only lineup that cashed was the only one that didn’t have Cashner. I hope you heeded my advice and went the other direction. If you went with the big guns — Zack Greinke and Chris Sale — you probably cashed. Good job.
We were back to profitability at both Draft Kings and FanDuel on Thursday, ending a pretty garbage stretch. With Clayton Kershaw on the mound, and our value-based rankings to help us figure out who to start, I figure we’ll be in for another nice day in our 50/50s today.
My lineups finally got back in the win column last night with a profitable slate of games. I hope you had similar or better success. I expect we’ll get more of the same today.
It was another nice day at FanDuel on Thursday. The rankings seemed really good on that site. Although they weren’t quite as dominant at Draft Kings. Oh, well, we can’t win every game on every site. That wouldn’t be fair.
I’m a little behind the 8-ball today. I had a lot to get done. That’s why these are a bit late for the all-day contests. However, the only game you’re missing out on is Cubs-White Sox. And, as the rankings point out, we don’t really need them today anyway.
… Meanwhile at Fanduel. A couple days ago I introduced these Fanduel value-adjusted rankings. The first day was a bit of a flop, but I profited yesterday. These may not be quite as good as our Draft Kings rankings. Or maybe I just need to adjust the formula.
