In our fantasy football championship week, eight quarterbacks are projected to throw at least 2.0 touchdown passes. This could be a big week in fantasy. Today’s quarterbacks, Mark Sanchez, Robert Griffin III, Colin Kaepernick and Philip Rivers are interesting as well.
These matchups are going to be a little light on commentary this week. At least that’s my plan.
The whole point of these boom-or-bust projections is to dig up sleepers for us to play in a pinch or on daily fantasy sites. Our quarterback projections this week get us started on the right foot.
Multiple sets of statistics — including season-long and last-five-weeks — are used to determine the best and worst matchups of the week. When multiple sets of statistics all point us in the same direction it increases our confidence in them.
Two of our top five quarterbacks this week played on Thursday. Tony Romo didn’t pan out despite a stellar matchup. The other top five quarterbacks are Andrew Luck, Aaron Rodgers and Drew Brees. Not a bad trio to pick from for your Sunday daily fantasy sports lineups.
Las Vegas is predicting a crazy weekend this week in the NFL. It seems like the kind of week where we will need to know which wide receiver will get two touchdowns while his teammates get one.
