I’ve stopped calling the kicker projections boom or bust. Kicker fantasy totals can get pretty random Blair Walsh is 24th on the list, but separated from first by only four points. Minnesota is expected to struggle against Tampa Bay, so maybe Walsh gets an extra try or two and finishes as K1.
Chandler Catanzaro is in the top-5 every week. Just thought I’d mention that. Fantasy Pros have him ninth this week. He’s averaged the third-most fantasy points among kickers at FanDuel.

I think these kicker projections are getting more reliable as the season progresses. The are, of course, based on team vs. team averages, so the individual player’s success rate and usage and the opposing team’s likelihood of allowing field goals all factor in to my projections.
These kicker projections are still a bit questionable.
