Tight end matchups for Week 9

Good matchups

Clay Harbor vs. Cincinnatti — The Bengals allow 19.6 fantasy points per game to opposing tight ends.

Chicago is on bye

John Carlson vs. Dallas — I can’t really recommend Carlson, but I wouldn’t be surprised if he got in the end zone either. The Cowboys allow the most fantasy points in the NFL to opposing tight ends, 20.4.

Jim Dray/Gary Barnidge vs Tampa Bay — It’s a great matchup but I’m not going to tell you to play these guys.

Julius Thomas vs. New England — Thomas is going to score two touchdowns this week.

Larry Donnell vs. Indianapolis — I’m starting Donnell in a few places this week.

Dwayne Allen/Coby Fleener vs. New York Giants — Andrew Luck spreads the ball around quite a bit and should find Allen open a lot this week.

Rob Gronkowski vs. Denver — Dueling tight ends in New England this week.

Owen Daniels/Crocket Gillmore vs. Pittsburgh — Daniels just got his knee scoped but is expected to be active Sunday night. Gillmore is a sleeper play if Daniels can’t go. If you’re lineup locks this afternoon, I’d avoid this situation.

Chase Ford vs. Washington

Bad matchups

Jace Amaro vs. Kansas City

Antonio Gates vs. Miami

Charles Clay vs. San Diego

Atlanta is on bye

Garrett Graham vs. Philadelphia

New Orleans played Thursday

Jared Cook/Lance Kendricks vs. San Francisco

Jordan Reed/Niles Paul vs. Minnesota

Zach Ertz vs. Houston

Heath Miller vs. Baltimore
