Week 3 fantasy football preview with projections: Falcons at Saints
Last week the Falcons amassed 220 yards both on the ground and in the air and scored five TDs. They’ll try to continue that success against the world champion Saints.
There should be a lot of fantasy football fireworks in New Orleans Sunday.
Our projection model is not perfect. There are many improvements that could be made, but we have had relatively good accuracy with it this season despite the flaws. Translation: Use these at your own discretion but they should be pretty darn good.

Did we mention that these projections are far from perfect? Example: This projected 21-19 Falcons victory. In my pick’em, I’m going with the Saints.
Matchups
The Saints are a good fantasy matchup for tight ends, so Tony Gonzalez could be in for a big game. The Saints also allowed a huge game to Frank Gore on Monday night. Michael Turner is no Frank Gore, not even close. However, Jason Snelling might be.
Michael Jenkins’ return will be another fantasy storyline to watch. He could provide Matt Ryan with another option in the passing game, improving the QB’s performance, but swindling catches from Roddy White, Harry Douglas and Eric Weems.
For the Saints, expect Pierre Thomas to be happy back, especially since Reggie Bush (O-broken leg) won’t be around to swindle touches.
