Week 3 fantasy football preview with projections: Lions at Vikings
If Brett Favre cant find his mojo against the Lions it may be lost for good. Of course, it doesn’t help that he has a rag-tag bunch at receiver.
For as bad as the Lions are, they make an interesting fantasy team to watch, especially after last week’s Jahvid Best eruption. Will he erupt again? Let’s discuss.
Our projection model is not perfect. There are many improvements that could be made, but we had relatively good accuracy with it this season despite the flaws. Translation: Use these at your own discretion but they should be pretty darn good.

The projections give the Vikings a 22-18 win over their division rival. However, if that mojo stays missing, it wouldn’t be a stretch to see the Lions win this one.
Matchups
First thing first: Until Jahvid Best goes a game without scoring a touchdown he’s getting predicted for a touchdown. In-season bold predictions. Or would it be projections? Think about it.
Last week Brad Childress did what he should have done after the first half the first week. He ran Adrian Peterson a lot. Peterson has to like this matchup and could easily surpass our projections.
The Lions are not a great matchup for opposing tight ends, but something tells me that Visanthe Shiancoe isn’t paying attention to that and will be the most decorated Vikings receiver on Sunday.
