Pittsburgh stopped Chris Johnson‘s streak of 100-yard games last week. He’ll get a new one started this week against the Giants.
If there’s one thing for certain, when the Giants face the Colts in New York, it’s that Eli Manning is going to get sacked at least once and get picked off at least once. Wait. Is that two things? I’m not sure, in either case you get bonus intro start’em advice: Tennessee Titans defense.
Our projection model is not perfect. There are many improvements that could be made but we had relatively good accuracy with it this season despite the flaws. Translation: Use these at your own discretion but they should be pretty darn good.
Tennessee scored 38 points in Week 1. The Giants gave up 38 points last week. Coincidence? Absolutely. But the Titans are still projected to put up some impressive points in a 25-21 win.
The Titans secondary took advantage of a shoddy Steelers passing game on Sunday and should do a good job slowing Steve Smith and Hakeem Nicks.
The Titans have also been stout against opposing running attacks. Barring a few broken tackles and a long run, don’t expect either Ahmad Bradshaw or Brandon Jacobs to put up huge numbers.
As of this writing, Vince Young (who was pulled for Kerry Collins against the Steelers) will start this game. Monitor the situation because the Titans QB should toss a pair of TDs.
