Week 3 final fantasy football rankings — QB, RB, WR, TE, FLEX, K, DEF

Here are the final rankings for this week.

I have some new features in the works for both season-long and daily fantasy players.

More number-crunching awesomeness involving aggregated projected high and low scores. I’ll drop a taste for you guys this week in just a few minutes.

Until then, here are our final rankings for this week.

There are a pile of players on the injury list this week, including some huge questionables like DeMarco Murray, Chris Ivory, Eric Decker, Eddie Lacy, Marshawn Lynch, Ladarius Green, Davante Adams. DeMarco is supposed to play, Ivory thinks he’ll play. Decker is out. Lacy, Adams and Lynch are supposed to play. Green had his second concussion in 11 days, if he says he’s playing I wouldn’t believe it.

Some of these players have good matchups we should take advantage of even if it means starting a backup. For instance, if Ivory is a no-go, then Bilal Powell becomes a sleeper. Same with DeMarco and Ryan Mathews and Lynch and Fred Jackson. James Starks is a must-start even if Lacy is expected to be limited. But if Lacy’s a full go, then Starks will be virtually useless.

UPDATE 09.27.15 — DeMarco Murray is officially out. Ryan Mathews will start, making him an interesting play in tournaments. But considering how the Eagles have played I would not use him in your cash game lineup.

In case you aren’t sure, questionable means a player has a 50% chance of playing. Even considering those blurbs I provided above it is imperative that you check to make sure a player is starting (or your sleeper’s starter is not-playing) before kickoff, especially on a week like this.
