Week 4 fantasy football preview with projections: 49ers at Falcons
The Falcons are soaring, the 49ers are reeling. They face each other this week. It doesn’t take a crystal ball to figure some of this stuff out.
Our projection model is not perfect. There are many improvements that could be made, but we have been relatively good at predicting players’ good weeks. Translation: Use these at your own discretion but they should be pretty darn good.

Matchups
Last week against the world champion Saints, Atlanta rushed for 202 yards and a TD. The 49ers gave up 207 yards and a score to the Chiefs. The 49ers also allowed 250 yards passing and three passing TDs to Kansas City. The Falcons tossed a pair of TDs and threw for 228.
Play your Falcons.
On the other side, the Falcons are a relatively average matchup against running backs and tight ends, meaning Frank Gore and Vernon Davis should still be able to do their thing.
Two other game notes: Matt Ryan is 14-1 at home as a starter and the 49ers are 14-6 when Gore gets 100 yards or more rushing.
