2016 Draft Kit

Week 5 early fantasy football rankings: QB, RB, WR, TE, FLEX, K, DEF

I made a huge mistake while putting these together this morning and it cost me quite a bit of time.

They are correct now, so please use these rankings with reckless abandon.

As I tweeted out (@epcn) on Sunday, we had Devonta Freeman as our No. 3 running back in our final rankings. He’s got a tough matchup against the Redskins this week, but he’s still a must-start in season-long leagues until we are informed otherwise.

As always check your lineups to make sure games are being played and players are in lineups.

These rankings will be updated early Sunday morning and don’t always reflect final starting lineups.

Sorry, folks. No time for a lengthy notes section for the early rankings this week, but here are  few points.

Andrew Luck is questionable and might not play. Although Matt Hasselbeck looked good last week, but he’s questionable too. I feel like we have to downgrade the Colts players once again.

I will have a couple DFS tournament lineups specifically to start Arian Foster. After his lackluster return last week, I suspect he might go huge.

The Texans receiving corps has been decimated by injury, so there should be a ton of targets to go around — most of them will go to DeAndre Hopkins. Vontae Davis, one of the shutdown-ingest corners in football should shadow him on the field. However, Davis — like Luck and Hasselbeck — is questionable. This could be a massive game for Hopkins.

Good luck tonight.
