Week 5 fantasy football preview with projections: Jaguars at Bills
If you like smashmouth defense-laden football, just skip the game in Buffalo this week.
Both the Jaguars and Bills have allowed their opponents to reach offensive prolificness. For those of us with fantasy players on those teams, well, that’s music to our ears.

The Jaguars are projected to win a high-scoring affair, 25.1-22.2.
Matchups
Jacksonville is the top defensive matchup in the league for opposing quarterbacks and receivers. Unfortunately, that offense is built for conservativity and Ryan Fitzpatrick doesn’t have great horses to throw to. Marshawn Lynch was traded to Seattle, shaking up the running back hierarchy. Fred Jackson was named the starter, but Buffalo’s going to give their first-round draft choice, C.J. Spiller, some opportunities.
David Garrard, on the other hand, has the Mikes (Mike Thomas and Mike Sims-Walker), a good matchup for TE Marcedes Lewis and, one would think, confidence after shredding the Colts last week. One concern: Garrard was benched in each of the first three contests after sub-par play. Trent Edwards, a former Bill, would be called on if Garrard falters.
Maurice Jones-Drew is loving life, especially after fully participating in practice Thursday. The Bills gave up 273 yards on the ground last week and 200 more the week before that.
