Regardless of what I write here, you need to start a player like Aaron Rodgers because he’s Aaron Rodgers.
You may be in a situation where you have to start someone like Mike Vick. I was there this season in a couple leagues.
This list is meant to point out waiver wire players who may provide an edge you need with your starter on bye and point out players we need to consider in daily fantasy sports. If you are on the fence about which to streaming quarterback to start or which quarterback to start in daily fantasy, matchups should be a major part of your decision-making process.
To come up with these rankings, I compared Football Outsiders’ Defense-adjusted Value Over Average to fantasy points allowed to determine the strongest matchups. On paper, the players who intersect on both lists provide the best/worst matchups and other players at the top of each list also present potential helpful/hurtful matchups.
The full charts for both rankings are at the bottom of the article.
