It didn’t come up last week, but I’ve changed the way I do my matchup rankings now. It worked out last week. We’ll see if that was an anomaly or a step in a wining direction.
The change is that now instead of just looking at Football Outsiders’ defense adjusted value over average and yards allowed, I’ve added two other rankings to the equation.
By adding in a couple different sets of fantasy points allowed rankings, I hope we’ve improved our confidence in the matchups.
Let’s get to it.
Wide receiver 2
Donnie Avery vs. Buffalo
Randall Cobb vs. Chicago — I’m going to have way too many shares of Randall Cobb this week.
Mike Evans vs. Atlanta
Jericho Cotchery vs. Philadelphia
Justin Hunter vs. Baltimore
Anquan Boldin vs. New Orleans
Andre Holmes vs. Denver
Tavon Austin vs. Arizona
Brian Hartline vs. Detroit
Roddy White vs. Tampa Bay — A lot of people are suggesting you stack Matt Ryan, Julio Jones and White. I might do that in one lineup, but I’m not going to own Roddy in too many other lineups because of this matchup. Tampa Bay allows 43.1 PPR fantasy points per game to opposing wide receivers but have allowed the fifth-fewest yards in the league to opposing No. 2 WRs.
Alshon Jeffery vs. Green Bay
Golden Tate vs. Miami
Jermaine Kearse vs. New York Giants
