2016 Draft Kit

Wide receiver 2 matchups for Week 14: Sleepers and busts

These matchups are going to be a little light on commentary this week.

At least that’s my plan.

I’m trying something new at Draft Kings and I want to put some time into it. Hopefully it works and we can use it to our advantage for the rest of the season.

I have high confidence in these matchups. We’re only talking about teams that have meet good/bad matchup criteria for the whole season, the last five weeks and the last three weeks. If a matchup doesn’t fit in all three categories, then it has to have a significant number in the last-five-weeks and last-three-weeks.

The players are ordered based on season-long adjusted fantasy points allowed. The numbers next to the names are PPR fantasy points allowed by position and the NFL rank in that category in the last five weeks. For receivers we’ve included the yards the defense has allowed per game to that receiver type.

Week 14 projections

Week 14 matchups: PASS | RUN | WR1 | WR2 | WR3/4 | TE | RB (rec.)

Top WR2 matchups

Kenny Britt vs. Washington — 82.2 yards

Emmanuel Sanders vs. Buffalo — 74.3

Randall Cobb vs. Atlanta — 73.7 — Everybody and their brother will have Jordy on their roster this week. Cobb is getting in quite a few of my lineups.

Michael Floyd vs. Kansas City — 71.5

Reggie Wayne vs. Cleveland — 67.5 — Could Donte Moncrief supplant Wayne as WR2 this week? It would be a maximum risky play, but I could see it happening with Wayne talking retirement and all.

Jarvis Landry vs. Baltimore — 66.3

Terrance Williams played Chicago on Thursday

Rueben Randle vs. Tennessee — 65.4

Malcom Floyd vs. New England — 64.1

Jericho Cotchery vs. New Orleans — 63.9

Worst WR2 matchups

Golden Tate vs. Tampa Bay — 36.8 yards

Markus Wheaton vs. Cincinnati — 38.3

DeAndre Hopkins vs. Jacksonville — 38.4

Anquan Boldin vs. Oakland — 39.1

Mike Evans vs. Detroit — 40.6

Roddy White vs. Green Bay — 45

Robert Woods vs. Denver — 45.9

Andre Holmes vs. San Francisco — 46

Cecil Shorts III vs. Houston — 46.6
